What SY0-701 asks of you.
SY0-701 is the current version of CompTIA’s Security+ exam. It is organised into five objective domains, and it is weighted so the larger domains carry more of your score than the smaller ones.
It is scored 100 to 900 with a pass at 750, and CompTIA does not publish how raw answers convert onto that scale.

It is written against CompTIA’s published SY0-701 objectives and checked automatically on every build, but nobody holding the certification has signed it off.

The other 104 were written by hand. The drafted ones pass the same automated checks and were edited where they failed, but no one who has sat the exam verified them one at a time.

The real exam is scored 100 to 900 with a pass at 750, and no percentage converts from that. Ours is a deliberately demanding practice target and nothing more.
