Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to QuickCruit Inc. ("QuickCruit," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, platform, mobile applications, browser extensions, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our accompanying Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our Services immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law to use the Services. By creating an account or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to request verification of age or identity at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not comply.
3. Description of Services
QuickCruit is an AI-powered career platform designed to help job seekers streamline their job search. Our Services may include, but are not limited to:
- •Resume Builder & AI Resume Tailoring: Build resumes from scratch and use AI to tailor them for specific roles, optimized for applicant tracking systems.
- •AI Cover Letter Generation: Personalized cover letters aligned with target roles and industries.
- •AI Career Coaching: On-demand career guidance and professional development advice.
- •Job Matching & Tracking: Intelligent job discovery and application management tools.
- •Portfolio: Create and host a professional portfolio online, with the ability to control its visibility and make it public or private at any time.
- •Browser Extension: Autofill tools to simplify job applications across the web.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Services, you must register for an account. When creating your account, you agree to:
- •Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- •Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
- •Keep your login credentials secure and not share access to your account with any third party. Your password is managed by our identity provider, Clerk, and QuickCruit does not have access to it.
- •Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately at contact@quickcruit.ai if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
5. Subscription Plans, Pricing & Payments
QuickCruit offers both free and paid subscription plans. Details of current plan features and pricing are available on our Pricing page.
- •Free Subscription: QuickCruit offers a Free Subscription that provides access to core features at no cost. Free Subscriptions are subject to usage limits as described on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify the features and limits of the Free Subscription at any time.
- •Paid Subscription & Auto-Renewal: Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or quarterly, depending on your selected billing cycle). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for all applicable fees. YOUR PAID SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AT THE END OF EACH BILLING CYCLE AT THE THEN-CURRENT RATE UNLESS YOU CANCEL BEFORE THE RENEWAL DATE. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
- •Free Trials: We may offer free trial periods for paid subscriptions at our discretion. No payment method is required to start a free trial. At the end of a trial, you will need to subscribe to a paid plan to retain access to premium features. We will not charge you unless you affirmatively subscribe.
- •Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your account settings or by managing your subscription in the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and no partial refunds or credits will be issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
- •Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. If we change pricing for your current plan, we will provide you with at least thirty (30) days' advance notice before the new pricing takes effect. The updated pricing will apply at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period. Your continued use of the Services after the price change constitutes your acceptance of the updated pricing.
- •Downgrades: If you cancel your paid subscription or it otherwise expires, your account will revert to the Free Subscription. Certain data, features, or content associated with your paid plan may become inaccessible. We are not responsible for any loss of data or functionality resulting from a downgrade.
6. Acceptable Use & AI Usage Policy
QuickCruit provides AI-powered tools intended to support your legitimate job search and career development. You agree not to misuse the Services in any way, including but not limited to:
- •Automated or Bulk Misuse: Using bots, scripts, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the Services, generate content in bulk, or circumvent any rate limits or usage controls.
- •Resale or Redistribution: Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing AI-generated content, platform access, or any output from the Services to third parties for commercial purposes.
- •Fraudulent Content: Using the Services to create misleading, false, or deceptive application materials, or to misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity.
- •System Interference: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breaching any security or authentication measures.
- •Excessive or Abusive Usage: Engaging in usage patterns that are disproportionate to normal individual use, place an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure, or are designed to exploit unlimited plan features beyond their intended purpose.
- •Duplicate Accounts & Free Trial Abuse: Creating multiple accounts to repeatedly access free trials or free-tier benefits. Each individual is entitled to one account. Accounts found to be duplicates created for the purpose of exploiting free offerings will be permanently locked.
- •Fraudulent Payment Disputes: Filing chargebacks, disputes, or payment reversals with your bank or payment provider for charges that you have legitimately authorized through the Services. If a fraudulent dispute is filed, your account will be permanently terminated and you will be prohibited from using the Services in the future.
- •Harmful or Unlawful Activity: Using the Services for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law, or to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this section and may, at our sole discretion, immediately suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services without prior notice or refund if we determine that a violation has occurred.
7. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content provided by QuickCruit, are owned by or licensed to QuickCruit and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the Services without our express written permission.
Content you create using the Services (such as resumes and cover letters) remains yours. By using the Services, you grant QuickCruit a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
8. Privacy & Data Use
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle and protect your information. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We do not use advertising tools to track your behavior. We may collect general usage data to improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickCruit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
While our AI tools are designed to improve your job search materials, we do not guarantee that use of the Services will result in employment or interviews. AI-generated content should be reviewed by you for accuracy before submission to any employer.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuickCruit, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuickCruit and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violations of these Terms, abusive or excessive use of AI features, fraudulent activity, duplicate account abuse, filing fraudulent payment disputes, or conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or to QuickCruit.
Certain violations — including fraudulent chargebacks, duplicate account abuse, and serious misuse of the Services — may result in permanent termination. Users who are permanently terminated are prohibited from creating new accounts or accessing the Services under any other identity.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) shall continue in full force and effect.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
14. Referral Program
QuickCruit may offer a referral program that allows users to invite others to the Services in exchange for rewards such as complimentary subscription time. Participation in the referral program is subject to the following terms:
- •Eligibility: Referral rewards are available only to users with active QuickCruit accounts in good standing. Both the referrer and the referred individual must be real, distinct people. Each referred individual must create a new, genuine account using a valid, unique email address.
- •Reward Structure: Rewards are granted on a milestone basis. The current reward structure (e.g., free subscription days for a specified number of successful referral sign-ups) is displayed on your referral page within the Services. Reward amounts, milestones, and caps are subject to change at our discretion.
- •Prohibited Conduct: The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification from the referral program, forfeiture of all earned rewards, and potential account termination:
- — Creating multiple accounts (directly or through others) to generate fraudulent referrals.
- — Referring yourself using alternate email addresses, aliases, or secondary accounts.
- — Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate referral sign-ups.
- — Incentivizing sign-ups with cash, gifts, or other consideration outside of QuickCruit's official rewards.
- — Posting referral links as advertisements or spam, including in contexts that may mislead recipients about the nature of the link.
- — Colluding with others to create fake accounts or exchange referrals.
- •Fraud Detection: We employ automated systems to detect and prevent referral abuse, including but not limited to IP address analysis, email pattern detection, device fingerprinting, and behavioral signals. Suspicious activity may result in referral rewards being withheld pending review.
- •Reward Delivery: Referral rewards are applied to your subscription as additional free days. Rewards are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for credit, refunds, or any other form of compensation. Rewards are subject to a maximum cap as displayed on your referral page.
- •Modification & Termination: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time, with or without notice. Any rewards earned before such changes will be honored, but no new rewards will accrue under discontinued terms.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, for material changes, may notify you via email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
