Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and QuickCruit. By creating an account or using QuickCruit, at quickcruit.ai or app.quickcruit.ai, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
QuickCruit is an AI career coaching product for students and early-career job seekers. The service includes:
- Coaching: interview practice and career guidance from your coach.
- Tailoring: resumes and cover letters adapted to specific job postings.
- Matching: job recommendations based on your profile and preferences.
- Tracker: a record of your applications and their status.
- Extension: a browser extension that works with job postings as you browse.
Features vary by plan, and we may add, change, or retire features over time as the product evolves. If we retire something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice where practical.
Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use QuickCruit.
- You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly at contact@quickcruit.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One person per account. Do not share credentials or impersonate anyone.
- Keep your account information accurate and current. Your coaching is only as good as what you tell us.
Plans, billing, and renewals
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis, at the price and billing interval shown at checkout. All payments are handled by our payment processor; we never store your card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Some plans include usage credits for metered features, as described on our pricing page. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.
- Prices may change. If they do, we will notify you in advance, and the new price applies from your next billing period. If you do not agree with a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Where we are required to collect taxes, they will be shown at checkout.
Free trials
Some plans include a free trial, with the length shown at signup. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends. We may limit trials to one per person.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your plan stays active, and you keep every paid feature, until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not charge cancellation fees.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused features.
- If you live somewhere with mandatory refund or cooling-off rights, nothing in these terms limits them.
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at contact@quickcruit.ai and we will review it promptly and make it right where warranted.
Acceptable use
Do not use QuickCruit to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the service, or access it with automated tools we have not authorized. This applies to the public pages too, including the job board, individual job pages, and company information: the postings are presented for individual job seekers to read, not for automated or systematic collection.
- Copy, compile, or use our job listings, company data, or any part of the QuickCruit database to build, train, or populate a competing or derivative product, dataset, or service. Our compilation of listings, and the way we screen, enrich, and keep them fresh, is ours; the underlying facts about a role may be public, but our collection of them is not yours to take.
- Misrepresent yourself: do not submit credentials, experience, or work that is not yours.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties as your own offering.
- Upload content you do not have rights to, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
- Probe, overload, or interfere with the service, circumvent rate limits or authentication, or reverse-engineer our software except where the law expressly permits it.
- Violate any applicable law or third-party right.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we may investigate suspected violations. These acceptable-use rules bind everyone who accesses QuickCruit, including visitors browsing the public pages without an account; automated access beyond ordinary browsing, and beyond what our robots.txt permits for search indexing, is not authorized.
Your content and ownership
Your content is yours. You own your resumes, your cover letters, and the documents QuickCruit generates for you, and that ownership survives cancellation.
So we can run the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display your content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the service for you. We never use your content to train AI models and we never sell it. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are legally required to retain certain records. See the Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for the content you provide, and you represent that you have the rights needed to share it with us.
AI-generated content
QuickCruit uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions: tailored resumes, cover letters, and coaching responses. AI output can be imperfect or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you use it: check facts about yourself, dates, numbers, and company details before anything goes out the door.
QuickCruit is a coach, not a placement service or employment agency. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment, and we are not a party to any relationship between you and an employer.
Applications and the human in the loop
You review and submit your own applications. QuickCruit prepares materials and keeps your tracker current, but the decision to apply, and the application itself, is yours.
When the Agent launches, it will act only on roles you approve, and judgment calls stay with you. It will not answer work-authorization, equal-opportunity, or other sensitive application questions on your behalf; those always stay with you. You remain responsible for the accuracy of every application submitted through your account.
Our intellectual property
The QuickCruit service, including our software, brand, design, and the content we create, is owned by QuickCruit or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your personal, non-commercial job search under these terms. No other rights are granted. Do not copy our software or use our brand without written permission.
Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback about the service, you agree we may use it without restriction or compensation. We appreciate it, and it helps us build a better product.
Third-party services and links
The service may link to or interact with third-party websites and services, including job postings and employer application systems. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.
Early-access features
We sometimes offer features labeled as beta, preview, waitlist, or early access. These features are provided as is, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may be subject to additional terms we share when you enroll.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime from account settings; we remove your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if your use puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickCruit and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 US dollars if you have not paid us anything. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuickCruit from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service in violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at contact@quickcruit.ai and give us a good-faith opportunity to resolve the dispute informally; most issues can be sorted out this way within 30 days.
Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction and venue. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of where you live.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. For material changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel your subscription.
General terms
- These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and QuickCruit about the service.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in full effect.
- If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- You may not assign or transfer these terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
