Tailor your resume and write a cover letter
Make a resume and a letter for one job, without touching your original.
Updated
- Open a job from your matches or Job search.
- Choose Tailor My Resume. QuickCruit tailors a copy of your default resume to that posting.
- Change anything you like, then Download PDF.
Your original resume never changes. Edits save to that job's draft, which comes back when you reopen the job. Run another tailoring pass starts the tailoring over.
The cover letter
Open the Cover Letter tab. The first time, it writes a letter from your resume and the posting. Edit the text right there; it saves as you type. You can switch the template (Classic, Modern, Executive or Compact), change the font, copy the letter or download a PDF.
On the Free plan
Free covers 10 jobs a month. The first tailored resume or cover letter for a posting uses one, and everything after that for the same posting is included: another tailoring pass, the letter and your edits. The line under Tailor My Resume shows how many are left. The 10 come back on the 1st of each month, and everything you made stays. Pro has no limit.
Then apply
Apply Externally opens the employer's own application. When you come back, answer Yes to Did you apply? and the job joins your Applications with the resume and letter you made for it.
