How your job matches work
Where your matches come from, how to make them better, and why a job might be missing.
Updated
Your matches are built from the basics on your Memory page: target roles, experience level, work authorization, minimum salary, locations, work setup, timeline and job types. The more accurate those are, the better your matches.
Make them better
- On the Dashboard, the line Tuned to shows what matching uses. Adjust lets you fix any value.
- In Job search, open More filters, then Target roles. Changes save right away, and your matches follow them.
- Tell your coach about your goals. What it learns goes to your Memory.
Filters
Job search shows My matches first. Switch to All jobs to see everything, sort by Best match or Most recent, and filter by location, industry, on-site, hybrid or remote, job type, minimum salary and seniority. Extended matches, on unless you turn it off, adds related roles that fit your profile and level. Clear all resets the filters.
Why a job isn't there
- Matches only show postings less than 15 days old. Every job says when it was posted.
- A job the employer has closed shows Listing closed and can't be applied to.
- Found a job somewhere else? Add it yourself.
