Build and edit your resume

Open Resumes and choose New Resume. Pick a template (Standard, Engineering, Business, Healthcare, Finance, Marketing or Federal), then Use this template. It starts filled in from your profile.

Editing

• Changes save on their own, with Undo and Redo.
• Add a section adds experience, education, projects, skills, a summary and more.
• Document options has Page fit, which keeps it to one page, and the font.
• Download PDF, or press Cmd or Ctrl + D.

The chat beside your resume

Quick actions work on every plan. Autofill my resume fills it from your profile, and there are shortcuts to add work experience, education, a project or skills. Suggested edits show on the page, and you choose Accept all or Reject all. Chatting freely with the builder is part of Pro.

Your default resume

The star marks your default, the one tailoring starts from. To upload a file instead, use Upload your resume on the Dashboard's Getting started card: the upload becomes your default and fills in your Memory. Each resume's menu has Rename, Duplicate and Delete.
