Position Details

  • Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (FMLA Leave Coverage)
  • Location: Dixon, Illinois
  • Grade Levels: PreK–12th Grade
  • Setting: Specialized Day School, High School, and Preschool Services
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • Setting: Onsite
  • Duration: February 1, 2027 – May 21, 2027

Caseload & Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students across PreK–12th grade
  • Support students at a specialized day school with individualized communication needs
  • Provide services to high school students in a school-based setting
  • Assist with preschool walk-in screenings and evaluations as needed
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans based on individual needs

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience working with students with diverse communication needs is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
