Job Profile Description
Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that project and program objectives are clearly defined for assigned areas of responsibility, and that all necessary preliminary activities (such as defining outcomes, milestones, feasibility studies, and resource planning) are completed to support successful execution.
- Ensure all assigned projects and programs are completed according to established requirements, with a focus on product and process specifications, cost management, resource utilization, and schedule adherence.
- Ensure all phases of project, program, and process development are properly documented. Communicate and transfer required information to other functional organizations as appropriate. Maintain compliance with company policies related to engineering documentation, intellectual property, confidentiality, and safety.
- Ensure effective utilization of material and financial resources.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to maximize project and program productivity.
- Lead the research and development of new technologies as appropriate, and ensure that newly developed processes, designs, and methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products and services or shared across relevant organizations.

Other Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
