Responsibilities
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will lead and continuously enhance a variety of critical company-wide and operational financial processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of FP&A, this role will own critical enterprise processes including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), sponsor and lender reporting, and financial reporting & performance management, while owning and advancing the company’s Oracle EPM platform. This role will also lead a team of FP&A professionals based in the company’s Global Capability Center (GCC) abroad, ensuring consistent quality, cadence, and development across a globally distributed finance function. Success will require partnering with functional leaders to ensure alignment with financial and performance targets while proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
This individual will operate at the intersection of finance, operations, and executive leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive EBITDA expansion and data-informed decision-making. The Director must ensure that business decisions are grounded in rigorous financial analysis and aligned with both short-term performance goals and long-term strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, thoughtful leadership, and a collaborative mindset. This individual must be able to leverage strong analytical and communication skills to deliver relevant, timely, and actionable insights to business leaders while effectively monitoring and evaluating performance against established objectives. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable working within a matrix organization and leading a team across multiple time zones and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Ownership
- Own end-to-end AOP process across all business units and functional areas (timeline, templates, assumptions, consolidation)
- Partner with operational and functional leaders to pressure-test assumptions and align targets with value creation plan
- Drive bottom-up and top-down alignment across revenue, cost structure, and capital deployment
- Translate AOP into actionable KPIs and operating cadences across the organization

Oracle EPM Leadership
- Serve as functional owner of Oracle EPM (Planning, Reporting, Consolidation)

- Own preparation of flash/monthly/quarterly reporting packages for the management team, private equity sponsors, and lenders
- Lead monthly and quarterly performance analysis vs. AOP and prior year, developing clear narratives on EBITDA performance, cash flow and liquidity, and variance drivers with forward outlook

- Build detailed financial models to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, productivity improvements and forecast future results
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as requested
Global Capability Center (GCC) Team Leadership
- Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A analysts and associates based in the company’s Global Capability Center (GCC)
- Establish clear operating cadences, quality standards, and performance expectations for GCC-delivered work product
- Serve as the primary onshore point of contact for the GCC finance team, bridging time zones and ensuring alignment with U.S. leadership priorities
- Own hiring input, onboarding, performance management, and career development planning for GCC team members in partnership with local site leadership and HR
- Continuously identify opportunities to shift transactional and recurring reporting workload to the GCC to free up onshore capacity for higher-value analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting – CPA and/or MBA in Finance designations preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in FP&A and/or closely related function
- Minimum 5-years in a Corporate Headquarters role, with experience in a privately held or private equity owned organization preferred
- Minimum 2-years of direct people management experience, ideally leading teams across multiple geographies or time zones
- Prior experience managing or partnering with an offshore team, shared services center, or Global Capability Center strongly preferred
- Strong accounting and financial modeling knowledge and experience, including reasonable familiarity and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ability to understand/interpret financial statements
- Prior experience with Oracle ERP/EPM and SQL required
- Demonstrated self-starter, able to work effectively both independently and in a heavily team-oriented environment
