Design customized SIS human-machine interface (HMI) applications and contribute to system architecture, hardware, software, and network design. Create test plans and test documentation; execute internal system testing and support customer factory acceptance testing (FAT). Commission systems, troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and communications issues, and make controlled field changes needed to return operations to service safely and on schedule. Participate in internal and customer design reviews, clearly communicating technical decisions, risks, status, and priorities. Apply standard libraries, proven designs, and QA/QC processes while meeting cybersecurity, engineering, schedule, and quality requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and meet project commitments. What are the key skills and experience we are looking for? 2 + years of PLC, SIS, DCS, or industrial automation project engineering experience. Experience with Triconex or another safety PLC platform and with system integration, FAT, site acceptance testing, startup, or commissioning. Experience configuring and troubleshooting Modbus, Modbus TCP, OPC, industrial networks, switches, firewalls, or related hardware. Experience with C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Microsoft Windows, or common Microsoft productivity applications What’s in it for you? You will work within a project team led by a project manager and supported by multiple engineering disciplines.
