Job Summary

The Production Supervisor within Government Services leads a team that performs real-time analysis and review of extensive documentation required by federal regulations. The Supervisor must be a critical thinker who seeks input from their team and challenges the status quo. They are responsible for researching client requests related to eligibility and assisting with constituent outreach. The Supervisor must also be comfortable communicating “the why” and assisting others with understanding program policies and procedures to solve problems and ensure program compliance. Additionally, the

Supervisor will be accountable for team deliverables and timelines, offer feedback and delegate to Associates, and exhibit fierce career ownership.

Training and Technical Assistance

  • Designs and implements subrecipient training programs and outreach content
  • Leads training and provides technical assistance to funded recipients
  • Effectively communicates eligible and ineligible expenses to potential recipients, internal partners, and the public at large
  • Reviews and approves policies and procedures manual and all amendments

Reporting Activities

  • Assists in design and implementation of client reporting dashboards
  • Utilizes technology to ensure funding transparency and accountability
  • Manages content updates for public transparency website
  • Reviews and finalizes real-time status reports of funding

Oversight and Compliance

  • Manage day-to-day oversight and compliance activities for the program
  • Implement internal control framework to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse
  • Manage responses to state and federal oversight and monitoring activities

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day production environment for case management and administrative staff
  • Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

  • HS Diploma or GED, required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s, preferred

About the Job

Experience:

  • Two (2) to four (4) years’ experience in a production environment related to manufacturing, quality assurance, or grant management, preferred
  • Federal/state grant administration and compliance experience, preferred

License/Certifications:

  • N/A

Software:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc), required

Language:

  • N/A

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to understand complex grant funding requirements
  • Ability to navigate multiple software applications
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • This position may require travel. Travel frequency may vary based on business needs.
