Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary
- Provide s assistance in all areas of HR, including employment, communication, onboarding, badging/licensing, fingerprinting, training administration, electronic recordkeeping and team member events.
- Maintain s general office, front counter, lobby area and computer lab area ensuring that they are neat /clean, orderly and well stocked.
- Handle s t eam m ember questions/requests and escalate s issues as appropriate to ensure prompt resolution.
- Performs administrative duties, including maintaining employee records, data input and research; preparing reports; team member/vendor badges, gaming licensing and renewals, etc.
- Assist s in coordinating onboarding and New Hire Orientation.
- Provides fingerprinting services to applicants and general public.
- Maintain s an upbeat & positive attitude as well as a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor with all t eam m embers, applicants and guests.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Assists with other HR projects and events as business needs dictate.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of one year experience in a customer service position is required; previous experience working in Human R esources is desired.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook); iCIMS and Ultipro experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written skills. Bilingual a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail- orientation and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional customer service focus including attention to producing quality results.
- Must approach team member questions and concerns in a caring, confidential and helpful manner with discretion to know when issues need to be escalated to HR business partners.
- Flexib ility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents i n English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Employees must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to a West Virginia Lottery License and a West Virginia Racing Commission License.
- Employees must be able to qualify as a Notary Public in West Virginia and obtain certification through the Company's screening vendor to administer screening and fingerprinting services.
- All required licenses, permits, and certifications will be facilitated and paid for by the Company and are not required prior to employment.
