- What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences you'll need
- 1+ Years of OR RN experience
- BSN
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the operative setting, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes during surgical and invasive procedures.
- Perform scrub nurse responsibilities, selecting and handling surgical instruments to maintain sterile technique and support optimal procedural efficiency and patient safety.
- Assist surgeons during procedures with hemostasis, suturing support, wound exposure, and patient positioning to promote clinical quality and procedural success.
- Prepare and manage operating rooms, surgical equipment, and supplies to ensure regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and seamless interdisciplinary team collaboration.
