Position Summary
***$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates***
The Mammographic Technologist II is a member of the mammography staff of Radiology Services. The technologist must be proficient in performing screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localizations, and stereotactic mammography as applicable. The mammographic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (M) registered with current certification.
Minimum Requirements
- High school or equivalent (or higher)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Registered Radiologic Technologist in Mammography is required.
- 2 years of experience as Mammography Technologist

Starting pay in the Outer Banks Hospital/Outer Banks Medical Group market may be higher to reflect local market competitiveness.

- Primary Shift: Day Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
- On Call: No
- Weekends: No
- IMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Mammography Technologist II, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Mammography Technologist I, II, III or IV.

About The Outer Banks Hospital
The Outer Banks Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season.
