Job Title: Project Manager, Global Store Design

Primary Purpose: The Project Manager, Global Store Design serves as the central coordinator for international store design initiatives, overseeing project schedules, milestone tracking, and cross-functional communication throughout the project lifecycle. This role drives accountability, facilitates informed decision-making, and ensures projects remain on track to meet key business and store opening objectives.

Maintain Project Schedules & Stakeholder Communication

  • Manage project timelines for all international store projects, including new builds, renovations, enhancements, temporary stores and closures ensuring alignment with design development and construction milestones.
  • Track critical design activities, monitor schedule changes, and provide visibility into project status, risks and forecasts.
  • Coordinate design review meetings, including agenda preparation and prioritization of key projects.
  • Lead regular project check-ins and milestone reviews; ensure stakeholders are informed of deadlines and risks and are accountable.
  • Serve as the primary liaison across design, construction, operations, and external partners to support effective communication, coordination, and project delivery.
  • Work with Project Portfolio Manager, North America, to coordinate cross-functional project execution.

Milestone Tracking, Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Track project progress against key milestones and ensure schedule adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly project schedules, status updates, and reports for leadership and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and portfolio reporting for store openings, closures, renovations, remodels, and pipeline activity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling, tracking, and reporting processes, driving efficiency and adoption of best practices.

Risk Identification & Mitigation

  • Identify and assess risks that may impact key design milestones, project schedules, or store opening dates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate impacts and develop effective strategies.
  • Drive proactive issue resolution and provide leadership with timely risk, issue, and escalation reporting.

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, architecture, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project scheduling or coordination within retail, architecture, or construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of international processes and landlord requirements.
  • Proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to influence and drive accountability across teams.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with a focus on meeting deadlines and mitigating risks.
