About the Role
Clow Valve's Metal Casting Facility has an opening for a Coresetter.
1st shift position: M-Fri
Starting Wage: $26.85; Qualified Wage: $27.15
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Retrieval of cores from cart and bring to spomatic molding machine
- Prepare drag and cope; blow debris from molds
- Loading of cores into the drag by hand or using a hoist.
- General clean-up of area
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification include but are not limited to
- Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 10 lbs, some lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent lifting greater than 40 times per hour.
- Bending/ twisting/ and standing for greater than 8 hours.
- Ability to read and write and understand training and instruction.
- Ability to work in extreme heat. •Must be able to utilize and work around moving machinery.
- Must be able to utilize proper PPE including: respirator, metatarsal guarded boots, eye protection, hearing protection, apron, gloves and sleeves.
