Responsibilities

Conduct cutting-edge research in the fields of computer vision and machine learning
Ensure successful technology transfers to TikTok’s products
Incubate new products with computer vision and machine learning technologies

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
Research experience in one or more of the following areas: image/video search, image/video classification and understanding, object detection, segmentation, tracking, scene understanding, facial analysis, pose and gesture recognition, or 3D vision.
Strong skills in algorithms and programming.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

Award-winning experience in competitive programming (e.g., ACM ICPC, IOI/NOI, TopCoder, or Kaggle).
Proven track record of publishing in top-tier computer vision or AI conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.).

About the Job

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156000 - $316800 annually.
