The Role
Collaborate with the piping and plumbing detailers to provide assistance with spooling and drawings for the fabrication shops. Utilize Stratus as a tool to facilitate a paperless workflow for the Hermanson shops.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize Revit & Stratus to manipulate and draw piping and plumbing.
- Utilize Navisworks.
- Create spool sheets for piping and plumbing.
- Understanding of dimensioning, shipping and piping to provide accurate break points in the spooling operations.
- Collaborate with all members on the Hermanson team.
- Communicate effectively with other individuals.
The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $55,000.00. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education
High School education or GED. Technical training and/or experience utilizing drawing software. An understanding of construction documents.
Experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to utilize Revit, Navisworks and Stratus. In addition, use of the Microsoft suite of tools.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Environment
The majority of the work will be in the office, with occasional work in the field/shop where noise levels are moderate to loud.
