About the Job
Sigma Defense is seeking a Drafting Engineer II, III to support PMW160 and NIWC Pacific for U.S. Navy Enterprise networks. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to shape capability delivery by providing:
- System Rack Design
- Technical Data Packages
- Installation Requirement Drawings
- Environmental Qualification Testing
- Troubleshooting
- Lifecycle Engineering Support for Navy IT Networks and Systems
Drafting Engineer II
- 3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study; 7 years of experience and an Associate's degree in a technical field of study or High School Diploma; 10 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study.
- Experiencing with designing rack elevation drawings, technical drawing packages, and installation requirements drawings.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Drafting Engineer III
- 7 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study; 11 years of experience and an Associate's degree in a technical field of study or High School Diploma; 14 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study.
- Expertise with designing rack elevation drawings, technical drawing packages, and installation requirements drawings.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Computer Software/Programs
- AutoCAD
Personnel Clearance Level
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
- Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive)
- Design, develop, enhance, integrate, and maintain hardware system components supporting PMW160 system configuration, deployment and sustainment.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in lab and deployed environments while providing root cause analysis, and defect resolution implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering team in a fast-paced operational environment to support operational readiness.
