Responsibilities and expectations Manages complex projects for clients and supports growth of existing client relationships. Uses analytical and communication skills to advise multinational organizations in managing their retirement plans globally, including pension accounting, retirement plan management and financing. Acts as a delivery lead on multiple client accounts; may act as a client lead on some accounts. Communicates effectively in client situations (with key day-to-day contacts within Finance and HR function) and is able to provide consulting advice. Responsible for growing business for current clients and may be involved in business development with prospective clients. Uses discipline specific best practices. Uses International Wealth delivery models, tools and resources. Is familiar with market developments and how to introduce these appropriately to clients. Able to collaborate effectively; delegates deliverables appropriately within client team(s). Required Experience: Ability to consult strategically with clients to offer appropriate solutions and identify opportunities to grow the business. Outstanding communication skills with colleagues. Excellent actuarial technical skills, including experience with US GAAP pension accounting standards. Qualification with Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA) or a similar actuarial designation. Preferred Experience: 12+ years of experience within retirement/benefits consultancy. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150k-$180k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
