Job Summary
Perform gas utility construction work activities according to classification.
Essential Functions
- Operate equipment is used to perform main installations, leak investigations, and leak surveys.
- Serve on a 24-hour emergency watch periodically.
Education Description
- Requires a high school diploma or Equivalent.
Experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be able to work safely outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions.
- Must be located with 35 driving miles of the Operating Center.
- Must be willing to work overtime and serve on standby service watch.
- Posse a CDL or be willing to obtain one within six (6) months of hire.
- HVAC experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.

This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a), and 60-741.5(a). Compensation Rate: 34.89 Hourly CenterPoint Energy is required by Minnesota law to provide a good faith estimate of the starting fixed pay rate at the time of posting for the opportunity. This hourly compensation is specific to Minnesota and the pay rate negotiated in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
