About the Job

Entity: Oracle America, Inc.

Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

Position requires

Object oriented programming language including Java;
Developing and shipping enterprise distributed or cloud native systems;
Publish or subscribe messaging systems including Kafka, Google Pub or Sub, or RabbitMQ;
Relational databases including OracleDB;
System design and distributed systems architecture; and
Data Structures and Algorithms to design efficient and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
