The Logistics Account Lead is responsible for managing specific client account(s), providing quality customer service, compliance with safety standards and oversight of logistics employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Acting as an account lead on specific account(s) and providing quality customer service for the logistics
- department
- Providing direction to warehouse-level associates in fulfillment of day-to-day account tasks
- Maintaining customer records and shipping documentation through management system
- Handling various warehouse processes related to the account including receiving, shipping, distributing, storage, inventory, and VAS
- Maintaining client routing guides, Scope of Work, SOPs, and KPIs.
- Routing shipments and transportation through various platforms such as SPS Commerce
- Providing client support on distribution, logistics, and warehouse solutions to best service account.
- Ensuring logistics operations are aligned with client expectations and contract requirements.
- Interacting with carriers and vendors to appropriately handle client products.
- Resolving customer billing and invoicing upon order completion.
- Performing additional duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years’ experience in logistics warehouse environment
- • 1+ years’ experience leading teams and projects
- High school diploma, GED, or education n logistics or supply chain
- Forklift machinery certification
Physical Demands:
- This role requires individuals to talk, hear, use hands, stand, walk, sit, and see.
- Ability to lift, lower, and maneuver packages between 20 and 70 lbs.
- This position involves heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
