We’re currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 one city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit offers you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including
- · Sepsis
- · Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress
- · Chest Pain
- · Infection
- · Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms
- · Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
- · Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
- · Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
- · Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring
- · GI abnormalities
- · Trach care
- · Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements of the Ideal Candidate
- · Graduate of RN School of Nursing
- · ADN required
- · Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
Qualifications
- A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the field of nursing
- A valid Registered Nurse license
- The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
