Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer Technician performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of automated manufacturing equipment, component feeders, and other support equipment used in the manufacturing process.

Shift 1: Mon - Thr (6am - 4:30pm)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs according to manufacturer guidelines for component feeders and manufacturing support equipment, including microscopes, halo lights, soldering irons, hot air pencils, torque drivers, and other assigned equipment.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules to minimize impact on production requirements.
  • Assist with ordering, sourcing, and inventory management of machine repair parts.
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering Technicians with production and process-related activities as directed by the Machine Support Supervisor.
  • Assist Process Engineers in locating parts and supplies needed for emergency maintenance activities.
  • Process incoming and outgoing feeders and support equipment, including inventory tracking and maintenance management system updates.
  • Assist with equipment crating, uncrating, line moves, and machinery installation or relocation as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for manufacturing equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance database.
  • Follow all applicable safety, health, and environmental requirements.
  • Comply with company security policies and established procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • 2 years of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
