What You'll Do

  • Inspect vacant apartments and complete make-ready checklists.
  • Prepare apartment homes for new resident move-ins.
  • Repair or replace doors, windows, screens, locks, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, blinds, ceiling fans, light fixtures, and other interior components.
  • Perform drywall repairs, patching, texture, and interior painting.
  • Complete basic plumbing repairs including faucets, drains, sink plugs, toilets, and fixture replacements.
  • Perform basic electrical repairs such as replacing switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and ceiling fans.
  • Complete minor appliance repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Repair cabinets, countertops, closets, and other carpentry-related items.
  • Make apartment keys and change locks for upcoming move-ins.
  • Assist with community cleanliness, curb appeal, and grounds maintenance.
  • Work with the maintenance team to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming community.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in apartment maintenance, make-ready, handyman services, or residential maintenance.
  • Experience with painting, drywall repair, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to participate in an evening and weekend on-call rotation.
  • EPA Certification is a plus, but not required.
