What We Want

The Texas A&M School of Law is seeking an energetic and outgoing Law School Recruiter to support the admissions department in recruiting prospective law students. The admissions recruiter will represent the School of Law at various events both regionally and throughout the country.

Salary: $23.00/hourly

Other Requirements and Factors

  • This is temporary position that will work from August to November.
  • May require nights, weekends, or overnight travel.
  • Essential Duties/Tasks

Admissions Recruitment

  • Represents School of Law at local, state, and national events.
  • Requires operating a vehicle to perform duties.
  • Counsels prospective students (in person, by telephone, and through e-mail) regarding the admissions process and the program of study.
  • Conducts follow-up contacts with prospective students.

Reporting

  • Manipulates, analyzes, and interprets current, historical, and comparative data to produce reports, inform decisions, and guide actions.
  • Provides verbal and/or written activity updates for events attended.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, institutional, and accrediting agency policies and procedures.

Required Education and Experience

  • Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law.
  • No prior experience required.

Required Licenses and Certifications

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Texas Class “C” driver’s license within 30 days of employment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be personable, energetic, and capable of articulating their experiences at TAMU Law in a positive manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
