About the Job
Collaborate with VPE Launch IEs to develop AutoCad Layout for every operator Station (Trim, Chassis, Final, Door Line, Engine Line, and HV Battery Line if applicable) and
Coordinate all AutoCad layouts
- Tooling / Equipment
- Torque Tools
- Ergo Arms
- Line Side Material Displays
- Operator Break Areas and Supervisor Desks
- PFS Layout
Define Scope of Work (SOW)
- New Tool Installation
- Tool Relocations
- Station Rearrangement
- Support Contractors / Maintenance on the actual white steels and tooling installations
- Change Management along with IEs (Scroll Changes / Refinements)
- Provide Training and Coaching to other Station Designers
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma / G.E.D and 5 years equivalent manufacturing experience
- Capable in performing 2D Layout in AutoCAD
- Workstation Design Experiences
- Expertise in developing SOW (Scope of Work)
- GA Shop Floor Tooling Installation Facilitation experiences to ensure the correct tools are installed in the right station and in the right way (Festooning / White Steel / Tool Rails / Tooling Sequence, etc)
- Understanding IE scroll / man assignments
