Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning to attract top talent.
- Conduct employee investigations and support corrective action processes while ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA and other employee accommodation processes, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Support compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee data management activities to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
- Maintain HRIS records, reporting, and documentation while identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Partner with site leadership to strengthen employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Generalist, HR Business Partner, or related HR role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and policy administration.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, leave management, and HR compliance activities.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including FMLA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and employee documentation requirements.
- Union or labor relations experience, including grievance handling, contract interpretation, or partnership with represented workforces, preferred.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with the ambition and potential to grow into future HR leadership opportunities.
