About the Job
How you'll make an impact in this role
- Occupational Care & Treatment: Provide medical care and treatment for job-related injuries and illnesses while managing employee health counseling and referrals.
- Preventive Health & Screenings: Conduct pre-employment health assessments, immunization clinics, and routine workplace health services according to organizational protocols.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace safety laws and deliver occupational health and safety training programs.
- Risk Assessment & Trend Analysis: Monitor patterns in safety events to identify workplace health risks and collaborate on hazard mitigation strategies.
- What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences you'll need
- BSN preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of nursing experience.
- Day shift: Most often four weekdays, from 0730-1600; occasional evenings and Saturdays during flu and respirator fit testing seasons.
