Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
Preferred Education
Master's Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education, or related area.
Required Experience:
2+ years of related experience administering programs and/or services to college students, including planning and implementing programs, advising and supervising students, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience advising fraternities and/or sororities and multiple councils, and leadership education. Experience working in a fraternity or sorority community in an urban setting.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to communicate policies and procedures to a diverse group. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, and organization skills. Ability to solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Ability to work and communicate with diverse stakeholders. Strong teamwork abilities. Strong proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications. Attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Experience developing or administering a fraternity or sorority life program. Working knowledge of student development theory and higher education practices. Creating and executing program and population assessments. Ability to create collaborative relationships with faculty, staff and university departments in order to create cohesive programs and services. Membership in fraternity or sorority organizations.
